Our center encourages faculty members, PhD researchers, and doctoral students to actively engage in international academic activities. PhD student Shin-Chwen Yeh from the Department of Chemistry participated in the 29th IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry, which took place in Valencia, Spain, from July 12 to August 1, 2024. The symposium convened photochemistry experts from around the globe to discuss advanced materials synthesis techniques, as well as innovative theoretical concepts and experimental designs. Topics covered included solar energy conversion, photocatalytic green material synthesis, biomedical materials, and their applications in early disease detection and environmental sustainability.

Shin-Chwen Yeh successfully applied to participate in the symposium by presenting her research findings and was given the opportunity to deliver both an oral presentation and a poster presentation. Her presentations were titled “Visible-Driven Immunosensor Based on a 2D Monolayer of Au-Nanoparticle/TiO2-Nanowire Core-Shell Heterostructure” and “Visible-Light Driven Ultrasensitive Photoelectrochemical Immunosensor Based on Polydopamine-Sensitive Hybrid Bilayer for cTnI Detection.”
