The "2023 Net Zero Tech International Contest @Taiwan," jointly organized by National Taiwan University and the Teco Technology Foundation, held its final presentations today (August 22nd, 2023). National Taiwan University, National Chung Hsing University, and National Taipei University of Technology claimed the top three awards, while three special prizes were awarded to teams from National Taiwan University and National Cheng Kung University. President Ing-wen Tsai remarked that this competition provides a platform to attract top universities worldwide to brainstorm, signifying its significant importance.

The "2023 Net Zero Tech International Contest @Taiwan" attracted 146 teams from 40 universities across 10 countries and regions. Led by Professor Ming-Chun Lu of the Department of Environmental Engineering at National Chung Hsing University, students Yu-Jie Chou, Jing-Wei Huang, and Dong-Xian Kuo won the championship with their work "Devices and processing methods for capturing and utilizing carbon dioxide."
